The meeting in Tine Ontos saw unrest over an attorney fee settlement from 25000 to 500 dollars. A lengthy resolution on restraining order was discussed as Paul Kuguth spoke about bank matters and possible jail sentences, prompting the mayor to call for a vote on the resolution.
Mrs Elsie Tonkin of 532 Circle Avenue won the $90 cash award from the Merchants Division of Forest Park Chamber of Commerce last Saturday. Ticket No 24804 drawn by Jan Thoendel. Next drawing set for Saturday 8:30 pm at Madison Street and Yannah Avenue on the Bruns parking lot. Also notes omitted merchant R C Hain Co and upcoming meetings at Albright's and McGurn's with five directors to be elected.
Franklin D Roosevelt urges national support for the tuberculosis control fundraiser. As Honorary Vice-President of the National Tuberculosis Association, he notes the association and its 2000 affiliated groups run the thirtieth annual Christmas Seal sale from Thanksgiving through Christmas.
A community effort at Forest Theatre collected 136 baskets of food for the needy. Donors include Walter Smith and the Forest Theatre group, with a show headlined by Shirley Temple in Captain January. Perishables and non perishable goods were donated, and local children contributed.
All organizations are urged to attend a village hall meeting tonight at 8. Mayor Hussy requests representation from every group to finalize preparations for the charity banquet. Proceeds will go to the Associated Charities of Forest Park to aid the needy this month. Be present.

Frances Hahn won a theatre award at Forest Theater on Wednesday night with Florence in attendance. Next week another 2 million will be awarded. T. A. Klein missed the Monday award election and thus did not receive the 1100 prize. the award rolled to 1200 this Friday and Monday.

Forest Park marked a successful tag day on December 4 led by Commander Harry Kol fentack. About 155 volunteers collected nearly $450 with no overhead, as cans circulated through offices and plants. The effort benefited ind igent residents, with organizers including Forest Publishing Co and WPA group led by Mrs. Sara Peyton, and support from American Legion Auxiliary, Garden Club of Forest Park, and Knorkers ladies.
The Associated Charities of Forest Park thank individuals and organizations for supporting Tag Day. Special gratitude goes to Chief Licht for obtaining cans. President Mrs Mathilda Peterson and secretary Mrs R Van Dyke express appreciation.

Mr and Mrs Lenard Doss of 7712 Vine Street River Forest welcomed a son born Sunday November 29 at Oak Park Hospital. The baby will be named Wayne John. Proud grandparents include Mrs Rose and farmer Hertha Luchte of Forest Park.
