Women of The Moose Install Officers in Forest Park
The Forest Park Chapter 245 Women of the Moose held an installation ceremony on Saturday June 26 at 8:30 pm at the Moose Home 8105 Des Plaines Ave. Pilgrim Leslie Clinton served as Installing Officer and Helen Berliner Betty Rankin Mildred Lyons Stella D'Angelo presided as officers for 1971 72. A buffet supper followed with dancing to Jack Martin and his band. Attendees included Alma Sicuro Joanne Schacherbauer Juanita Griffin Dorothy Weinert Marie Tierney and Mary Schwab among others.

Wallet Found Return Brings Good News in Chicago
Carlos Mendoza of Chicago misplaced a wallet with 179 dollars on Jackson Boulevard. Bill Fippinger of 138 Elgin found it and turned it into police. Identification led to Mendoza’s contact, restoring the money and relief.

Retires From Bus Company A Forest Park Icon
Frank Oldorff, longtime West Town Bus Company driver and Forest Park resident, retires after 26 years of service. He began in 1945 as a bus driver, briefly drove streetcars in 1948, and has logged over a million miles. He served 16 years in the Forest Park Police Reserves and now drives part time for Fenwick High School athletic teams.
