The Am erican Can company of Maywood invited Forest Park residents to a tour of its Maywood sanitary can factory built in 1917 and operating since 1918. The three story cement plant employs thirteen hundred in the sanitary building, with modern washrooms, a hospital room, cafeteria, and the largest daily capacity of one and a half million cans. Residence Fire In Oak Park Forces Family To Flee
A house on Murengu Avenue in Forest Park caught fire Sunday morning causing about 2000 in damage. Oak Park Fire Department joined Forest Park and Hinsdale units as flames damaged the south side of the residence. The Richards family had sold their home and were preparing to move to Hinsdale when the blaze occurred.

Obituary Ida Alice Clark Mab
Ida Alice Clark Mab of Marengo avenue passed away Sunday morning after a three week illness. Born December 22, 1801 in Mount Vernon Michigan, she was the wife of Edward Clark and longtime Forest Park resident. Funeral services were held at Community M B church and interment was Forest Home Cemetery. She left a son husband mother and two brothers and many friends. A devoted church worker she will be missed by Forest Park friends and neighbors. The university expressed appreciation for the effort of their Forest Park friends who aided them. Norbert Richard won and Faculty.
