Forest Park National Bank donated a 1976 Chevrolet Vega to the Forest Park Community Center to aid fundraising for youth and senior programs. Tickets cost 1 each or 6 for 5, with a goal of $10,000 and a winner announced at Oktoberfest. The prize includes one year of free maintenance from Gleason Chevrolet.

Paramedic Plan Faces Forest Park Residents’ Decision

Moving houses clog Madison Street for new parking lot

At 3:00 Tuesday morning two houses moved along Madison Street from Circle to Monroe Street to make way for a municipal metered parking facility at Circle Avenue. The structures 414 and 418 Circle were procured by Thomas Mislano. The move drew spectators who praised the slick operation as the homes were placed on new foundations on Monroe Street.
