Tuesday results show Tew Collis Jr. elected mayor of Forest Park, defeating incumbent Charles R. Hussey by 406 votes. Independent commissioners Calcagno Dannenberg Berliner Hoffman Reich also elected with votes ranging from 3009 to 3462, while Vernon Reich held 3462 against Leslie with 2135.

Public Schools Offer Music Festival in Forest Park
Approximately five hundred pupils from Forest Park public schools will take part in a two night music festival at Field-Stevenson school on Thursday April 27 and Grant-White school on Friday April 28. The Junior High Chorus of 130 voices will perform five numbers under the direction of Miss Alice Ransom supervisor of music.

School choirs organized by year at county event
Commissioner of these will be accompanied by the land. The pupils from the first to the sixth years have been divided into the following groups: a first and second year choir, a third and fourth year choir, and a fifth and nintly year choir. Miss Marion Goetz, Miss Sylvia Leving Miss Gladya Wiseman and Miss Camilla Warren have trained the children of the Intermediate years. Boy Scout Drive For Funds Gains Momentum
The annual drive for Boy Scout funds progresses with about 35 civic-minded volunteers canvassing homes to reach a $60 quota for Forest Park. The Maywood region hall hosted a banquet for hundreds of Scouts and parents, while organizers urge local citizens to contribute to support 150 Boy Scouts and 30 Cub Scouts.
