A charity benefit hosted Saturday evening by the Lady Bowlers league raised about $190 for storm victims at Forest Park. Regular Monthly Meeting of Parent Teacher Group
The Parent-Teacher association held four regular monthly meetings at the Municipal building Thursday evening. An unusually large crowd attended, linked to a ceremonial gathering of Forest Park camps led by Mrs J Herbert Mualler and guardians for the four camps. A business session and a talk on scientific home gardens by Dr W Alston followed, with an impressive ceremonial meeting led by the four camps. About fifty girls dressed in ceremonial attire participated, after which Mrs John Moody spoke to Chicago camp fire girls on Camp Fire work. After adjournment the girls performed a brief song. ACTIVITIES OF MACCABEES The Carnation club of the Maccabees met at Mrs Natalie Burkett’s home and spent several enjoyable hours.
