A very pretty wedding occurred Thursday afternoon in March as Miss Mise Hath Strochetn, daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Strocheln, wed Loyal Melvin Nelson of Chicago City. Rev H Kanz officiated at the German Biblelex Church. The bride wore Georgette crepe with a rose veil. she carried a shower bouquet of roses. American Legion Dance Draws River town Crowd

Flohr of Annland Avenue River dofeat. Additions to the prize list include two pound candy, hats, a buffet runner, a 10-pound chicken, dishes, flowers, and cash gifts from local sponsors.
