Mrs Mattie Nanney, wife of W Columbus Nanney, died after months of illness at Nealsville R-1. Funeral and burial were at Round Hill church. She was 75 years nine months and 24 days old, married in 1878, with one son deceased. A large crowd attended. Reverend M M Huntley led services.
