Reverend Charles H. Lewis Dies at 81 in Bostic
Longtime resident and Confederate veteran Reverend Charles Henderson Lewis died peacefully in his bed early Monday morning after a period of illness. Born October 4 1843 he was married in 1864 to Mandy Jones and leaves son Thomas Lewis. He served as a Baptist minister and will be buried at Fellowship Church following a funeral led by Rev Albert Hutson.

Evening performance of A Fortunate Calamity at 8 o clock with 15 and 25 cent admissions.
