Textile Night sparks talk on Southern textile progress in Rutherfordton
David Clark editor of the Southern Textile Bulletin delivers a vital message to textile men at Kiwanis Club. He traces the industry from Bavaria to Pennsylvania and the South, cites wage gains and fewer labor concerns, and predicts cotton prices may rise next spring. He condemns faulty college teaching on psychoanalysis and urges sturdy heritage and values. The Converse College Glee Club will perform next Monday at the High School as part of Kiwanis sponsored program with proceeds benefiting the club.
