Forest City social notes and thanksgiving gatherings
The column records a busy sequence of social events in Forest City including a Thanksgiving party hosted by Mrs. Ware and Mrs. Paw with many local guests, church groups meeting, teachers and students visiting relatives, and mentions of local store staff changes and community visits to Spartanburg and Charlotte. It notes hospitalities, travel, and civic engagements across residents and families with frequent references to local churches and schools.
