Happenings in the region bring many visitors home

Miss Bessie Remple returns from Charlotte while Mrs. Alice Dobbins of Avondale visits relatives. Numerous Misses Long, Byrd, King and Garland visit or host in Charlotte Asheville Chimney Rock Spartanburg and Monroe. Visitors include Mr. Michalove in New York buying goods, Rev Ayers off to Spring Hope revival, and families from Lincolnton Rutherfordton Brevard Marion and Rock Hill pleased with trips and gatherings.

City confirms assessment rolls for local improvements in Forest City on August 5 1925. Assessments may be paid to the City Treasurer within 30 days from July 27 1925 without additions. Interest at 6 percent applies after that date. Installment option available in 10 annual payments at 6 percent with taxes due dates. Streets and sidewalks listed for improvements.
