Forbes Municipal Council discussed multiple building applications including fibro cement dwellings, sheds, and a garage on Orange Road and Barwon Street with values from £30 to £1,175. A decision to approve most permits was noted, pending site connections and street alignment issues. A separate plan to replace a Lachlan Street shop front was introduced by Winchcombe Caron Ltd and referred to council for decision, with potential temporary timber front and later brick construction in a permitted brick area.
