The Forbes branch annual meeting of the Graziers Association of NSW was held in Forbes on Wednesday November 26. G Laidlaw chaired with A Wheatley F A Edols and others present. discussion covered fodder conservation, Lachlan water scheme, stock loading logistics, and proposed actions with Railways and government bodies.
The Forbes branch of the Graziers Association of NSW met in Forbes Municipal Council Chambers on 10 November 1918. The report covers committee activity, delegates to the District Committee, rabbit extermination efforts, a Special Purposes Reserve Fund, railway stock handling issues, and recommendations on travelling restrictions for sheep. Delegates Wallace Hunter and George Laidlaw were reappointed. broader aims include support for returning soldiers and ongoing agricultural support.
A hearty vote of thanks to Mr Curr was carried on the motion of Mr Law seconded by Mr Laldisw and supported by Mr Parker. Mr Law praised his information experience and valuable work while Mess Laidlaw and Parker commended his efforts and the Forbes local committee. Mr Carr responded and thanked the Forbes Committee for the Association’s work. The meeting ended with thanks to the Chairman.
