On July 9 1998 the Court of Enchanted Peanut Harvest visited the Texas State Capitol in Austin to meet Governor George W. Bush and promote the Floresville Peanut Festival set for October 6 8 9 and 10 1998. Queen-elect Julee Bingham and King elect Rex Koenig presented an official Peanut Hat and peanut goodies basket.
