Burn Ban Lifted As Redistricting Nears Completion
Wilson County commissioners met at the courthouse on September 10 2001 to discuss redistricting unfinished business lifting the burn ban and jail medical services. The panel reviewed Johnston and Associates data adjusting precinct boundaries to meet population standards and anticipated changes including Stockdale and Floresville areas. Health officials announced mosquito spraying and tetanus clinics, while the auditor noted the jail medical contract cancellation and Hospital District service arrangements.
