Perry appoints Pena district attorney for 81st district
Gov. Perry named Rene M. Pena of Floresville as District Attorney for the 1st Judicial District serving Atascosa Frio Karnes La Salle and Wilson Counties. Suspects Arrested After Home Burglary Attempt
On Monday afternoon August 30 two men approached a FM 536 home. One knocked, the other searched the garage. They fled as a resident warned them to drop items. Deputies and a witness tracked them to a residence where James Marcus Freeman and Robert Freeman were arrested. Property was recovered. Both suspects from San Antonio. Freeman DOB 1/24/84, Robert Freeman DOB 11/10/57. Booked into Wilson County Jail.
