The Floresville City Park on U S Highway 97 W will include a safe playground with a slide, picnic areas, grills, and a jogging trail beside a swimming pool under construction. City Manager Everett Taylor says funding remains and park open next summer with police patrols and a nightly gate lock. Floresville Area Soccer Association to start fall season in September. Green Valley Nurseries donated 500 dollars for landscaping. The park aims to be a community centerpiece and a credit to Floresville.
