Floresville Woman Delivers in Pickup Enroute to Hospital
A 21 year old Floresville woman gave birth to a baby boy in a Ford pickup on US 181 near Loop 1604. Husband Ruben Rodriguez drove to Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio after water broke around 2 30 pm. Baby Ruben Rodriguez Jr cried upon delivery prior to arrival. EMS responded but mother and newborn reached hospital safely.
