Shooters Billiards coming to Floresville in October
A new all age arcade and billiards center, Shooters Billiards, opens early October at 1801 C St inside Wilson County Auto Parts front area. It will feature video games, billiard tables, dart boards, a CD juke, and snacks, with weekly tournaments and BCA Junior League sponsorships. Ms. Watson, with 17 years in billiards, to mentor youth and partner with local schools while offering after school employment. Hours 2 pm to 11 pm Sun-Thu and 12 pm to 12 am Fri-Sat.

Citizens Tackle New Animal Ordinance Issue

Floresville Elementary School hosts a community Halloween Carnival on Saturday October 31 from 6 to 10 PM in the school parking lot. Activities include a cupcake walk dunking booth and games with prizes where everyone wins. Proceeds may support the Floresville ISD Special Needs Activity Fund with volunteers or donations welcomed.

St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital hosts a Wheels For Life bike-a-thon on Saturday October 3 at 8 30 a m at Path City Park Pavilion with 8 15 a m registration. The Floresville Peanut Festival sponsors a Kiddie Parade for ages 1 to 12 on Friday October 9 at 6 00 pm. Registration at 5 00 pm on 2nd Street by the old City Hall.
