Floresville teams swept the 27AAA district meet led by Angelina Vasquez and Fernando Marroquin. They claimed both team trophies and most medals as they beat Bandera in both divisions with strong Showings. The Jaguars advance to the regional meet at Fort Sam Houston Saturday at 2 30 p m.

Martin Reyes Found Dead in Old Depot Area
The body of Martin Reyes, a 27 year old laborer, was found Sunday around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection near the Old Depot area. Death appeared from a gunshot. Investigating officers include City, County and State personnel. Judge Jo Ann Brannon ordered an inquest into the case. a social meeting was noted for November events.
