Carrie May Appointed New Assistant District Attorney
Carrie May was formally sworn in as the new Assistant District Attorney on May 24 1990 after graduating Baylor University Law School in February and passing the Spring Bar exam in May. She began work in the District Attorney's office March 19 and plans seminars before full duties, daughter of Sam and Elizabeth May of Poth Texas. Freak Accident Costs Man His Life
A storm in the Fairview area on Sunday night May 20 led to the death of 43 year old Arron Reyes-Carre. He returned home Monday morning from a party to free his stuck vehicle on County Road 109 and faced a second entanglement.

Two Men Charged In Vigilante Style Slaying Case
Two Stockdale men, Adam Arce and Ruben Martinez, both in their early 20s, were charged with murder over the vigilante style killing of Frank DeLeon, 45. They posted $25,000 bonds, and authorities expect more arrests as the investigation continues. The body was found along Farm Road 3335 near Stockdale after a party turned violent.

Molotov Cocktail Misses Objective Last Week
In an incident near the Tax Collector Anna Gonzales office last week two dates May 13 and May 16 are noted. A misfired Molotov Cocktails failed to enter the tax office and no one was harmed. Local law officers and City Fire Marshalls investigated. Fragments were sent for study to determine the fuel type used and possible damage if the object had entered the office.
