Floresville Loads Carried by Shipping Sheds and Tracks
Floresville sees a busy week as Flory & Albers loads cucumber car lots from the big onion contract. Twenty carloads of onions have shipped, with beets and carrots also moved. Rain held cucumbers, and hopes rise for up to 15 more carloads if weather stays favorable and market remains steady. Poth has shipped 120 carloads of onions up to yesterday afternoon, says a Richman & Samuels representative. Cars were being loaded yesterday as the big deal moves forward with night and day work at the loading bed. Shipments from the Path area now appear lighter than a few weeks ago due to lateness.

Memorial Day Services At Floresville High School
The American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary will hold a Memorial Service Sunday afternoon May 29 at 4 30 in the Floresville High School auditorium.
