Poth FHA Tops State at 1994 Conference in Dallas
Poth Chapter of Future Homemakers of America took first in Volunteer Action at the 1994 State Leadership Conference held April 29 30 at the Dallas Convention Center Texas. Forty seven hundred members and advisors from across Texas attended with Heidi Posey and Jenette Jones winning the division and earning a slot at the National Convention in Orlando July 11 14 1994.

San Antonio Man Dies In One-Car Accident
Edward Mazuca, 34, of Addax Drive in San Antonio, died when his 1993 Mercury veered off U S 181 and dropped 40 feet into Calaveras Creek after he apparently fell asleep. Harmony Hills and Wilson County EMS responded. a helicopter transported him to a San Antonio hospital.
