Poth School Bonds Sold to San Antonio Firm
At a special meeting of the Poth Consolidated Independent School District board the $90,000 bond issue was sold to Russ & Company of San Antonio. The bonds run 29 years with a net 2.826 percent interest. Architect Paul G Silber of San Antonio outlined plans for a new combination gymnasium auditorium and additions. Bid advertisements for the proposed improvements appear elsewhere in this newspaper. Authorities hope to begin work soon.

Francis Johns Has Light Polio Attack
Francis Johns, 15 year old son of Mr and Mrs Bruiro RK Johns, received polio treatment at Robert Green Memorial Hospital in San Antonio during the past week. On physicians advice he was moved to the San Antonio hospital for observation and tests, which showed a slight form of polio. He has responded to treatment and was brought home Wednesday night.
