Lauer Child Dies From Rattlesnake Bite Near Path
Mary Katherine Lauer aged 22 months died at Blake hospital after a rattlesnake bite in her yard south of Path on Saturday night. She was bitten twice while playing and died about two hours later. Burial was at Skidmore Friday afternoon. Survived by parents three sisters and two brothers.

G W Guess Seriously Injured At Farm
G W Guess a Sunnyside farmer was seriously injured Tuesday last week at his home while working with bees. He fell about 12 feet from a tree, landing on his back, suffering a compression fracture of a dorsal vertebra.
