Youngster Suffered Serious Injuries In Bus Accident
Six year old Richard Ricky Cantu III from Floresville was struck by a turning school bus at A Street and Third Street on May 10 1982 around 3 35 pm. He underwent surgery May 17 to repair his right leg and is to be released to his family this week. The incident and care were documented by Floresville ISD principal Allan J Drozd with detailed sequence from the siblings and local staff.

Burglars Break Into Silver Saddle Restaurant Floresville
Burglars gained illegal entry through a back window at the Silver Saddle Rest aurant on Highway 181 in Floresville Texas early Sunday morning. They cracked the cash register taking a small amount of silver and some change from a cigarette machine.
