Gonzales Warm Springs Holds Open House and Board Meeting
More than 200 visitors attended the Gonzales Warm Springs Foundation Open House on May 5 1963 in conjunction with the Foundation Board of Directors meeting. Col Harlan Hodges presided at the 10:00 a.m. meeting and officers for the coming year were elected. New board members and medical advisers were named, a service award given to the Palmetto Council of the American Red Cross, and resolutions honoring several individuals were approved. Tours and afternoon entertainment featured the Midland Building Lobby Scottish Rite Choir, Ben Hur Clowns, and Elks hospital children.
