Florénlte Packing Company to open early next week in Floresville as a division of Prima Foods of Philadelphia. Manager H. Skiaroff will oversee a modern cucumber pickles and vegetables plant moved from Taft, with 240 gallons and 136 dozen No 2 cans capacity, employing 40 to 50 workers at opening.

County Teachers Meet At Sutherland Springs
The Wilson County Teachers Association met at Sutherland Springs on May 7 to discuss the twelve year school plan. Mr. Jack Lane read a letter from State Supt. L. A. Woods endorsing adoption of the plan. The group voted to urge the Wilson County Board of Education to re classify all county schools per state recommendations. The meeting adjourned to meet at Stockdale on November 12.
