Floresville DPS Trooper Named Outstanding Texas Officer
Floresville based DPS Trooper Doug las L. Sanford Jr has been named Outstanding DPS Trooper of the Year for 1966 after twenty years of service. He earned commendations for a 1985 arrest that recovered nearly ten thousand dollars in cash from burglary suspects, with supervision by his department peers.
