Austin Minister To Address Seniors Sunday
One of the largest graduating classes in Floresville High School history, 88 seniors, will receive diplomas next Tuesday night May 14 in the high school auditorium. Dean John Berglund of Southwestern University Georgetown will be main speaker. Baccalaureate is set for Sunday May 16 with Kev G Roesener pastor of St Martin’s Lutheran Church Austin delivering the sermon.

Funeral Held Here For Former District Judge S B Carr
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. for S B Carr former district judge who died Friday at Blake Memorial Hospital from a gunshot wound. Autie Justice of the Peace A Jimenez ruled the death a personal safety related gunshot. Lieut S B Carr enroute home from Yokohama reached here in time for the services conducted by Rev A E Loudon at Murrey Funeral Chapel with a large crowd and flowers including pieces from Wilson County officials.

Doctor Ella Ware Hurt in Hip Injury in Stockdale
Dr Ella Ware a longtime Stockdale physician suffered a hip fracture after an accident at her office. She was transported to San Antonio Hospital where doctors report her condition satisfactory. Floresville physician Dr C W Archer visited and noted improvement. Friends planned a 60 years service celebration in Stockdale but it will likely be postponed. We wish her a speedy recovery.
