Poth Ships First Wheat of Nation 1966
For the second consecutive year Poth Texas Wilson County shipped the first 1966 wheat in the United States Tuesday night May 10. The truck load weighed about 38 000 pounds and sold for 2 60 per bushel. It was raised by E W Jiral John Olinek and E G Casares and consigned to Goodpasture Grain and Elevator Company Houston.
