The Bloresville track team competed at the state meet with strong performances. One runner held third place for much of the race while others gained on the field, showing the team’s effort and perseverance despite rough conditions.

Stockdale school board elected F. By May of Lytle as superintendent for the coming term. West, who led the school for several years, will leave to head a school in South San Antonio. May is well known locally for conducting a splendid school at Lytle over the past year.
Hon J Ira Kircheville will deliver the commencement address to the Floresville High School graduating class. The baccalaureate sermon will be given Sunday at the Methodist Church by Rev Seager. The event is set for Monday evening May 22 at 8 30.
