Six Year Sentence In Robbery By Firearms Case
The State of Texas charged Ed Rodriguez with robbery by firearms in a two day trial in the 81st District Court. A guilty verdict resulted in a six year term in the state penitentiary. The holdup occurred in Wilson County on March 15, with $40 taken from taxi driver David Cantu of San Antonio. Senior Class Play Last Thursday Was Well Attended
Floresville high school senior class presented a three act mystery The Empty House on April 30 at 8 PM in the auditorium. The cast included Nora-Eiva Lee Dennis Larry Ferguson Milton Fahrenthold Alberta Donaho Tom Ferguson and Barbara Fein. W J Hill Jr and Miss Clara Marie Reichert trained the players and Bill and his Merrymakers provided music with solos by Herbert Johnson and Joe Tom Houston. The performance drew a well filled auditorium and a nice sum for the class.
