Poth Ships First Car Of Bermuda Onions Out Of Wilson County
The first car of 1932 Bermuda onions from Wilson County was loaded and shipped Tuesday night. The car, consigned to New York, contained 510 sacks and represented Rich Imuels. Mr Kuels witnessed the shipment and noted it as one of the year's best. Weather largely drives the next phase as good rains have shaped a fine crop. The Floresville Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual meeting May 10 at the office to elect directors and review the year’s activities. Dr W Archer, president, urges full attendance as plans for the future are discussed.

The Midway Rural High School will close today with graduation exercises starting at 8 p m at the school. Burglary suspect held after two station break ins
A man identified as Lynn Ro Santhine was arrested after two burglaries near town. Sinclair service station was entered by breaking a glass window and a vending machine was stolen. The same night Klaus Service Station also had entry and an escape vehicle was found abandoned. Sheriff Carnes headed the arrest in Malcolm Mills field. The suspect is held on a burglary charge.

Worker's Conference Of San Antonio Association In Floresville
The San Antonio Baptist association held a well attended Floresville meeting with over a hundred pastors and workers from San Antonio Karnes City Kenedy and Sutherland Springs.
