Death Claims One of Wilson County's Oldest Citizens
L. M. Richardson died at age 92 after a long life in Wilson County Texas. An old trail driver and livestock raiser born in Iowa, he delivered 5000 cattle to Dodge City and lived near Harper Sunny Side. He and his wife had twelve children, eleven sons and one daughter. Funeral services were held at Harper Cemetery with Rev. W. M. McKinney officiating.

Floresville Man Heads Teachers Group in San Antonio
G. J. Garland superintendent of Floresville schools was elected president of the Alamo District of the Texas State Teachers Association at a one day session held last Friday in the Municipal Auditorium San Antonio. Sixteen hundred teachers attended the war conference as prominent educators spoke. Garland is a well known Southwest Texas educator with long Texas State Teachers Association involvement.

Henry Ermler Funeral Saturday Afternoon At 4
Henry Ermler, long connected with the Saspamco factory and trustee of the local school district, died by apparent self-inflicted gunshot Wednesday. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 4 PM at the Alamo Funeral Home in San Antonio, with burial in Mission Burial Park. The body awaits family arrival from out of town. surviving are his wife and two children.

Carl Silver Held After Forgery Arrest in Chicago
Carl Silver, sought for five years by county state and federal officers in a forged stock scheme involving about 80600 in AT and T stock, is in Wilson County Jail. Texans from across the state joined in a record coalition of 271 AAF pilots graduating at eleven Southwestern advanced flying schools. Webbville Dog Owner Warned About Mad Dogs

John Koenning Dies Of Heart Attack
John F Koenning born October 2 1898 at Sweet Home. He married Lottie Winkler January 3 1921 at Hallettsville. A heart stroke in a Johnson community field ended his life March 26 at age 45 with six children and mourning relatives including Mrs Elbert J Smart Jr and others in Sabinal Johnson and Floresville areas.
