Karnes County Salary Bill Not Extending to Karnes

Karnes County officials already set salaries by the Commissioner's Court and are not receiving the maximum. they earn at least one thousand dollars below the allowed by law while major office salaries are five thousand seven hundred forty eight dollars annually, though six thousand seven hundred fifty is permitted. Floresville High School will gain a new 840 seat auditorium. Gene Treiber Construction Co of San Antonio won the bid at 117587 dollars. Construction starts immediately with a completion date of October 15. Architects are Harvey P. Smith and Associates. The building will be steel and tile and located behind the high school on U.S. Highway 181.
