FELPS Dispute Goes To Mediation By Court Order
The cities of Floresville Stockdale and Path move toward mediation in a dispute over board appointments and ownership. Lawyers presented arguments to District Judge Olin Strauss on March 25 and a mediator was agreed upon. Parties have 30 days to settle before a jury trial set for June 10 1996.

Early Voting Begins for Wilson County Runoffs
Beginning Monday April 1 through Thursday April 4 voters may cast early ballots at the Wilson County Clerk's Office in Floresville. The Democratic and Republican Runoff Primary Election is set for Tuesday April 9 1996 statewide with clerk offices open 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm for the four days.

City Council Plans Higher Commercial Sewer Rates
Floresville City Council will meet Thursday March 28 1996 at City Hall to discuss sewers. The agenda includes raising commercial rates currently 7.75 dollars per month for 248 businesses and a mandatory shift from septic to city sewer with new rates possibly effective after the meeting.
