A Friday night crash on U S Highway 181 near Path left three dead. Bharat M. Jariwala, 23, of San Antonio drove a 1985 Toyota at high speed and collided with Alice Garcia, 39, of Path in a 1976 Ford. Jariwala’s car burst into flames. bystander efforts failed to rescue him. Authorities from Wilson County investigated. a memorial fund was launched for the Guevara family. A Floresville Swim Team meeting was announced for March 27 to discuss spring workouts and the U S Olympic Festival.
On March 22 at 3:30 p.m a two vehicle collision occurred at Fourth Street and Trail Street when a car failed to yield at a stop. There were two injuries and only property damage reported. The report notes incidents on March 17 and 23 with minor outcomes.
