A large crowd is expected for the county school meet at Stockdale, set for Friday April 2. The event marks a holiday for the participating students and staff, with programs planned to showcase school efforts and encourage attendance.
Floresville Independent School District voters will go to the polls next Tuesday March 30 to decide on issuing bonds totaling 40000 for repairing the current brick school building and constructing a new high school. This marks the second election, the first having been February 27. Polls open at 8 and close at 7, election held at City Hall.

He is described as one of the few men of his church and will bring a message everyone should hear. A cordial invitation is extended to all to attend this special service.
The boys' tennis try outs featured Willie Pierce beating Kenneth 6-4 7-5 and Edwin Johnson defeating Newell Ford 62 61, while David Johnson won 64 62 and Devile beat Willie Pierce 61 63. The results leave David Panjus as the overall winner and slated to hold next Friday in Stockdale.
