Methodist Church of Stockdale Celebrates Centennial
The Stockdale church marks its 100th birthday with a fall day of activities on Sunday March 28. Morning services begin at 9 00 with a Sunday School and 10 00 worship led by Bishop Eugene Slater and Rev Harold Goodenough aided by District Superintendent Dr J Garfield Owens. Open house at 1 00 features church history, deeds and pictures while a covered dish lunch follows.
