Floresville scored 329.5 points to win the annual Wilson County School Meet held Friday and Saturday in Stockdale. Stockdale High School and Dilworth Ranch School trailed, with Poth and rural districts also posting strong showings as 13 schools competed. Robstown High School boys and girls debate teams, led by coach Miss Lilian Brigham, spent yesterday morning in Floresville for a practice debate with Floresville High. The Robstown party, joined by several chaperones, heard the girls debate in the study hall while the boys debated privately. Luncheon followed at Robstown High, after which the visitors proceeded to San Antonio to observe Brackenridge High and Thomas Jefferson High debates.

John H. Myers Ships Two Truck Loads of Fed Lambs
John H. Myers, a diversified farmer north of the city on the Fioresville Stockdale road, hauled two loads of fed lambs to the San Antonio market. There were 40 head, averaging about 70 pounds each. Prices ranged around 4.5 to 4 cents per pound. The lambs were home-grown, fed on oat pasture with mixed home feed.
