The visit by the grand master of the Masons to Floresville on July 3 is noted with Shori among attendees.
Work is advancing on a fireproof county clerk office and vault adjoining the courthouse. Concrete steel and brick construction will make the building fire and burglary resistant with a basement meeting room for the commissioners court. Southern Steel Company of San Antonio holds the contract.
The Chronicle Journal notes Max Wells fishing tales in the May 2 1924 Magazine Section. Richard Voges visits Floresville from Path on business. Hon Lynch Davidson former Texas lieutenant governor will address Floresville and Wilson County citizens about his gubernatorial candidacy at the Floresville courthouse tomorrow night at 8. Women are invited.
City Marshal John H. Mayes warns property owners in Floresville to remove weeds brush and tree trimmings rather than leaving them on streets or sidewalks. Clean premises and haul away rubbish to keep town tidy and healthy.
Rural Institute urges unity through a Saturday night program and two Sunday services featuring prominent speakers to foster community spirit and cooperation.
Hon. Lynch Davidson, former lieutenant governor and gubernatorial candidate, will address voters. A successful business man, he runs on a business platform and will present his vision at the event tomorrow night.

A dance is planned at Three Oaks Hall tomorrow night with Teltschik's orchestra providing music. The event invites all residents to attend, noting Saturday night as the date in April 1996.
A copy error left Miss Melba Lee McDaniel off last week’s class of 1924 honor graduates list. McDaniel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. McDaniel, earned a general average of 91.8. Supt. Davis and the Chronicle-Journal express regret for the oversight and publish the correction.
A special program will be held at the Darilek School Sunday night April 27 with entertainment, a dance after the program, and ars served. Proceeds go to the school. Everyone is invited. Chiropractic ad appears with a phone number for a chiropractor.
