Floresville Physician Recognized For Service
Dr. Harry Chavez received a plaque on March 8 1995 for providing medical services to Wilson County’s needy per Community Services Coordinator Josie Herrera. Attendees included Wilson County Judge Martha Schnabel and Floresville Mayor Ram Ramirez at the Professional Building. The Wilson County ribbon cutting celebrates completion of four bridges under the TDHCA Emergency Disaster Relief Grant of 350000 awarded Sept 14 1993. The ceremony on March 27 1995 will visit Alum Creek Clifton Branch No Name and Borrego Creek bridges with start times from 1 15 pm to 2 45 pm.

Rosalie Morris is charged with first degree murder in the death of Don Morris after a 22 caliber pistol assault in Independence Hill Mobile Home Subdivision Wilson County The arrest followed an investigation by Wilson County and Bexar County deputies and an autopsy was conducted at the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office Bond set at 50000 with motive under investigation.

An anonymous call led Wilson County Sheriff's Department to the southwest county corner where a John Deere Backhoe was recovered. The machine was reported stolen from the Three Oaks Community on March 16, 1995 by Ft. Sam Security M.P.s. Investigation is pending.
