Fund-Raiser by Parents for Special Students at VFW Hall
The Parents for Special Students group hosts an annual fund-raiser dance on March 25 from 8 p.m. to midnight at the VFW Hall in Poth. Metheney Bros. perform with a raffle and silent auction offering items such as an autographed George Strait picture, a ladies vest, and an oil painting. Proceeds fund equipment for area disabled students, including computers, software, adaptive switches, a hot house, a camcorder, and past field trips.

Wilson County DPS Accident Reports February 28 1995
Patsy Barry Kester of San Antonio driving a 1995 Ford pickup entered Creekside Drive and struck a house trailer after dropping a beverage. An injured worker on the roof fell to the ground. EMS transported the driver and injured person to Southeast Baptist Hospital. Incident occurred 6 20 p.m 12.3 miles north of Floresville. DPS Officer E C Haltom investigated. On March 6 1995 Tanna K Pyburn driving a 1994 Altima northbound on TX 123 rear ended Edith Kay Gann driving a 1989 Oldsmobile after Gann slowed to turn. Pyburn faced charges of failure to control speed.
