Voges Seeks Third Term As County Attorney in July Primary
County Attorney D Richard Voges announces re election bid for a third term urging Democratic voters to support him at the July 28 primary. Appointed in 1930 to fill an unexpired term, he won election in 1930 and 1932 unopposed, praised for diligent fair prosecutions and helpful work with county officials. Junior Class Presents Splendid Play To Large Audience
The Floresville high school junior class presented The Hurdy Gurdy Girl last Thursday in the high school auditorium to a large, appreciative audience. The three act comedy featured Nash Flores as Antonio Columbus and Carlotta Vernon as the masquerading niece, with a clever plot built around a missing letter and a locked door. The production, directed by Miss Alta Magruder and Miss Claire Reichert, with Miss Jewel Franklin and Mrs. Aug. Malcher at the piano and Teltschik's Orchestra during intermission, received strong praise for its cast and musical numbers.

About thirty leading Floresville business and professional people will greet John T. Wright president and Sidney Kring manager of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce as they arrive by bus next Thursday March 22 at 10 30 for a 15 minute stop. The visitors will promote the Agricultural and Industrial Exposition in Corpus Christi April 10 14 and discuss port prospects. No formal program is planned just a brief meet and greet to foster connections. Citizens are urged to attend promptly at the chamber here at 10 30 to welcome the guests from the coast.
