Sugarland Express filming shifts Floresville to Texas towns
Floresville hosts seven days of filming for The Sugarland Express with nearly 600 residents hired as extras including the high school band. Goldie Hawn and Ben Johnson mingled with crowds while a makeup artist treated sunburnt majorettes. Ben Johnson also played football on the courthouse lawn during a break. The production, a Zanuk Brown project, will shoot entirely on location in Texas.
