Dr. Kizzart has split his medical work between Floresville and San Antonio for ten years. He covers the Floresville ER at Wilson Memorial Hospital every other weekend and is now part of Wilson Memorial Hospital's medical staff with an office near the hospital. His internal medicine board certification supports contracts with managed care firms, though the closure of his San Antonio office caused HMO scheduling confusion. Appointments are via friendly staff Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 216-2403 or 1303 Hospital Blvd.

1998 Tiger Jaguar Relays at Floresville High School
The 8th annual Tiger Jaguar Relays will be held Saturday March 14 at Eschenburg Stadium with Floresville hosting multiple South Texas track teams. Four divisions exist J V girls J V boys varsity girls and varsity boys. The 3200 meter finals start at 9 a.m. in all divisions and boys field events begin then. Girls prelims follow after 3200 finals and girl field events start at noon with boys prelims. Finals for all running events begin about one hour after the boys prelims conclude.

Antonio Moreno Solis, 56, of Floresville, and Pedro Rangel Hernandez, 45, were ordered held without bond on federal charges of conspiracy to distribute about nine pounds of methamphetamine valued around 400000 dollars at street sale. DEA agents found eight pounds hidden at Solis ranch. If convicted, they face 10 years to life.
