Reenactment to mark Fannin Massacre at Presidio La Bahia
On March 26 and 27 1994 the Crossroads of Texas Living History Association and Presidio La Bahia host a reenactment of the Palm Sunday massacre of Colonel Fannin and 341 men at Presidio La Bahia in Goliad. New Administrator For Floresville Nursing Center
Mr. Ralph Moore appointed administrator of Floresville Nursing Center after transferring from a New Braunfels facility on February 1. A Cajun from Opelousas and former USAF pilot, he holds a BS in Industrial and Personnel Management and a Masters in Systems Management. Moore served 20 years, including 5½ in Southeast Asia during Vietnam, retiring in 1986 as Kelly AFB Chief Test Pilot on the C-5B. He later trained foreign test pilots for Lockheed and worked as an air ambulance pilot and smuggled-aircraft recovery with U.S. agencies. He and his wife MaryAnn live in northwest San Antonio with children Mandy and Stevie.
