Wilson County 4-H Poultry Win At Houston Livestock Show
Wilson County 4-H members exhibited 25 prize winning turkeys and pens of broilers at the Houston Poultry Auction in which the sale total reached 18 270 dollars. Individual winners include Ryan Bippert Floresville Sr. 4-H reserve champion Tom 6000 dollars Julie Dylla La Vernia 4-H 4th place Tom 2000 dollars and many others with sales ranging from 1200 to 1000 dollars. Special appreciation noted for county adult leaders and families for support during culling and grouping of entries. The Houston Market Poultry show featured 180 toms 165 hens and 70 broilers.
